W Nashville hotel + NoHo Hospitality
W Nashville hired our team to lead the PR efforts for two food & beverage concepts from James Beard Award-winning chef Andrew Carmellini, which opened in the W Nashville in Fall 2021. We were also brought on to support the PR strategy and grand opening initiatives for the hotel creating a buzzy and dramatic entry into the Nashville market.
From coordinating multiple grand opening events with VIP celebrities, artists, musicians and community influencers to setting up media tours and sneak previews prior to opening to guarantee press placement in local, regional and national online and print publications, we helped W Nashville and Chef Andrew Carmellini establish their spots as must-visit destinations for tourists and locals alike. We also helped the hotel and two restaurants pivot during a global pandemic when their opening dates continued to shift by creating impactful messaging to share with the media, re-prioritizing PR and marketing tasks to align with our overall strategy and planning/executing safe and memorable grand opening events.
The Results:
Sold out nights at both the hotel and restaurants, resulting in a vibrant culinary destination in the heart of the Gulch.
Five points pizza
When we presented our proposal to Five Points Pizza, we were met with a response of “that’s a lot of slices of pizza.” They gave us a three-month trial nonetheless, and eight years later we are still going strong for them.
Throughout the years, we’ve worked with Five Points Pizza to create an annual Free Slice Night, assisted in the efforts for opening their second location and served as their liaison to the community. We’ve coordinated local partnerships, hosted events and secured press mentions in local, regional and national news outlets. We also now manage their social media driving the content strategy and managing real-time engagement across three platforms.
The Results:
Earned media coverage in key national publications, including Food Network, Washington Post, Bon Appetit, USA Today, National Geographic’s UK edition, Eater Thrillist and Culture Trip.
Cheekwood Estate & Gardens
Parthenon PR was hired by Cheekwood in October 2020 to develop an omni-channel PR strategy and communications plan, capitalizing on their strong brand recognition.
After seeing an increase in its media presence, Cheekwood has extended its relationship with Parthenon PR to include a robust and multi-faceted ongoing regional and national media outreach plan.
The Results:
Parthenon PR secured meaningful, dedicated story opportunities with local media, provided insightful and creative recommendations for new and ongoing marketing initiatives and established two-way communication for press release distribution and ongoing pitching with local media.
Nashville Public Library Foundation
Six years ago, Parthenon was hired by the Nashville Public Library Foundation (NPLF) to handle the event planning and day-of management for two key annual fundraising events.
The Results:
Has helped the NPLF raise more than $70,000 each year at its spring Picnic with the Library event. In addition, Parthenon raised attendance to both the Picnic and its annual fall Public Lecture that features the Library’s annual Literary Award Winner.
A. Marshall Hospitality
A. Marshall Hospitality, the Franklin-based restaurant group with a family of restaurants including Puckett’s Restaurant, Americana Taphouse, Burger Dandy, Deacon’s New South and Scout’s Pub, engaged with Parthenon PR in 2021 to provide strategy, initiative and support for strategic local and national media relations, community partnerships, grand openings, event planning and submissions for relevant awards and accolades.
The Results:
Through Parthenon PR’s efforts, A. Marshall Hospitality has seen measurable success in increasing awareness of the Tennessee hospitality group and its leadership team and concepts, driving local and tourism traffic to its restaurants and growing its community involvement through strategic partnerships and events.
